About Wendy
After practising yoga for 20yrs & teaching for 12, I have a wealth knowledge, experience, and passion that I love to share. I believe that everyone can benefit from Yoga in their lives.
I am qualified in a range of yoga styles, teaching traditional Ashtanga vinyasa assisted self-practice & led classes; as well as Slow mindful flows and more dynamic Energising flows. Recently adding Yin Yoga & Sound Baths to my timetable.
My classes are designed for all levels, from beginners to the more advanced practitioner. They are creative & well -structured, incorporating a blend of traditional yoga asana, but also influenced by modern functional movement systems, designed to open the body, improve balance, coordination & mobility. Always with a strong emphasis on awareness of breath and linking movement with breath within a mindful flow. It is this awareness & synchronicity of movement with breath that keeps us present, creating a better mind/ body connection & can elevate our practice to become a moving meditation.
