Monday Mindful Breath & Meditation

Good Evening Yogis,

Hoping that you have enjoyed a wonderful weekend of Jubilee celebrations!

Just a reminder that I am beginning a weekly Monday Mindful breath and Meditation class from 8.30-9pm. Each week we will be exploring different aspects of mindfulness, breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation thought to reduce stress levels, anxiety and find stillness within both mind and body, providing us with a toolbox to deal with the pressures put upon us by 21st century living.

This 30 minute class is just £4.50 , if you can’t make the time you will receive a recording after the class has finished which will be available to use as many times as you wish for the following 7 days.

No prior experience needed, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Monday Evening Yoga Update

Good Evening lovely Yogis,

As most of you know last Monday was my last class at St. Marks, Biggin Hill. Thank you to all those who came along, it was wonderful to see you in person. If you did manage to make it you will have met the wonderful Lorraine, the new teacher taking over the class. If you didn’t, but wish to join her class- which I highly recommend- here is her email address if you would like more information.

For those of you wishing to stay online please visit my website for my full online timetable; I will continue to teach Monday evenings at 7pm and from 23rd May will be adding a 30minute Pranayama/ Meditation class at 8.30pm. The first class (23.5.22) will be a Yoga Nidra and will be free of charge. If you can’t make the time a recording will be available so please book on and take the class at a time that suits you.

Monday Evening Yoga

Good Morning Lovely Yogis!

What a beautiful day!

I just wanted to update you regarding my Monday evening class. As some of you know, sadly tomorrow will be my last class at St. Marks Church, Biggin Hill. I have so enjoyed teaching this class over the years but feel I need to focus on my classes online and those closer to home. The class will continue to run with a wonderful new teacher, Lorraine; she is a highly trained British Wheel of Yoga teacher, I’m sure you will love her. She will be attending my last class this coming Monday so please come along and meet her. Please bring your usual mats, props etc.

Those of you who prefer an online class, I will be teaching my Monday evening class on Wednesday evening this week and then will be back to normal the following week.

I do hope you all keep in touch and hopefully I will see some of you online or at workshops I plan to hold in Bromley.

If you are unable to attend class this Monday but wish to attend classes with Lorraine, please let me know and I can pass on her contact details.

Willow Glow Yoga Class Update

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break and are now eager to get back on your mats!

So some new classes….

I have a new in-person class at Chantry Studios (downstairs studio) beginning tomorrow morning, Wednesday 9.30-10.45am. This be comprised of both static and dynamic postures working on promoting both strength and mobility. Suitable for all and hopefully leaving you feeling calm, re-energised and ready to take on the rest of your day. You can book your place through my website or drop me an email so I can book it for you- it will be wonderful to see some of you face-to-face!

The following week I will be introducing an online Tuesday morning class 8.00-9.15am. It is at the earlier time as I know some of you are now back to work. The first hour of this class will be posture work with the last 15 minutes being a combination of pranayama/ meditation and relaxation so if you do have to run off to work you are more than welcome to leave early.

I am also considering some earlier classes and also a lunchtime session, these could lean more toward promoting strength within our practice, so please let me know your thoughts and requests if any.

Lastly, a big thank you to all of you who attended or received my recording of ’Introduction to Pranayama/ Meditation taster session.’ please let me know if this is something you are interested in me adding to my timetable, and if so, when would be the best time to hold this?

Apologies for bombarding you with so much information all in one go, but if you can find a spare couple of minutes to let me know if any of my musings are of interest to you I would be extremely grateful.

April events at Willow Glow Yoga.

Hello Yogis,

What a beautiful day! Perhaps Spring is finally in the air! If you feel the need for a spot of physical ’Spring cleaning’ there are still a few places left for my Detox workshop – Twist it out! It is this coming Saturday 9th April 11-1pm at Chantry Studios. You can book through my website or drop me an email, cost is £20. I can’t wait to see you face-to-face!

Speaking of face-to-face, I have a new in-person class beginning Wednesday 20th April, 9.30am at Chantry Studios. This will be held in the lovely downstairs studio. I am calling it ’Morning Flow’ similar to my existing online class, a combination of static and dynamic postures, mindful movement following the wave of our breath. Again, booking is through my website or email me and I can book it for you.

Also, I am introducing an additional online Tuesday morning class 8am beginning 26th April for those of you who like to practise early.

Spring Detox Workshop-Twist it out!

In-person workshop @ Chantry Studios, 20 Chantry Lane, Bromley.BR2 9QL.

Saturday 9th April 11.00-1.00pm. Cost £20.

Spring is in the air! Traditionally a time for decluttering, cleansing and renewal, so what better place to begin the ‘Big Spring Clean’ than with our body!
This workshop will focus on a combination of tantalisingly delicious twisting asana (postures) thought to help wring out and cleanse the whole body, detoxifying and nourishing the internal organs, stimulating the digestive system and purifying soft tissues. We will use breathwork to support our practice, creating warmth within the body to aid the purification and detoxification process. Ending with restorative meditative poses to calm and balance to both body and mind. 

Suitable for all. Places are limited to 15 students.

Studio Classes commence next week!

You can now book your place in advance through my online booking system – there are still some places available for next week!

In the interests of hygiene please remember to bring your own mats etc. If you don’t have one please contact me in advance so I can make one available for you to borrow.

Returning to the Studios.

Hello Yogis,

I am so excited announce that I will be returning to in-person classes from 6th September. All daytime classes will remain online so studio classes will be restricted to :

Monday 7.15pm Hatha (Slow Flow) @ St. Marks, Biggin Hill

Tuesday 6.20pm Ashtanga self-practice @ Chantry Studios

Tuesday 8pm Hatha Flow @ Chantry Studios.

I am even more excited to announce that I have finally added them to my booking system on my website! Spaces are limited so please book in advance.

For those of you who prefer an online evening class, I have also added a Wednesday evening Slow Flow @ 7pm.
